I have 2 years work as a reer in a corporation's blue team I'm particularly interested in starting with the grem (giac reverse engineering malware) certification to enhance my skills in malware analysis. And now i want to get a reverse or malware analysis certificate

Grem review i took and passed the course/cert a couple of days ago and wanted to share my thoughts on what i thought was valuable
A little bit about me i have roughly 5 years of cybersecurity experience (strictly blue team) I also have gdat, gcfe, gcih, gsec, casp+, cysa+, and security+ before taking the exam. Grem is the natural evolution after incident response You wanna start digging into payloads and how they actually work
It's helpful as a starting point due to how condensed the material is Helps you establish a base to give you some guidance on what to google/research. Article on self study for the giac reverse engineering malware (grem) certification recently passed the giac grem exam without access to any sans course materials, in large part thanks to the amazing book and video course recommendations posted on this subreddit years ago. I took the grem earlier this year and passed, i'd say unless you're a full time malware analyst with a good bit of experience you're going to have trouble passing the exams without the materials
If you've never taken a giac cert they are open book so having the materials and having them indexed is important but understanding the materials is equally needed
